A poker satellite is a single-table or multi-table tournament that rewards the winners with entries into larger tournaments. Players can win airfare, hotel stays, and tournament entries into the various WPS events by participating in satellites being run on various online poker, land-based casinos, and amateur poker leagues around the country.
