Well, we finally made it out to D.R. and it's beautiful here! The sun is warm, the beers are cold and the ladies are hot. Ocean World was a great location for a WPS vacation.

 We eventually made it back to England, despite cancelled flights, rerouting to Paris etc - only 26 hours journey home, but worth every second for the time we had on the poker cruise.

Herb, Warren and all the dealers made us both feel very welcome for the whole of the trip. Treena and Lee looked after us not with just with all our travel needs (Lee also showed us how easy it is to get American girls drunk...), but also to always be there with a friendly face to greet us as we entered the cardroom.

An important note:  Today we changed the date of the Ocean World Main Event from May 15 to May 17.  The $300 Event that was originally on May 17 was moved to be Event 6 on May 15.

The reason for this change is that the Domincan Republic is holding presidential elections on May 16 and it will be hard for some players to make the Event.  So Stefan and Herbie agreed to this change.

As I sit in my bed here in my apt. in Costa Rica with my laptop watching Law and Order out of one eye, while the other eye is on the laptop monitor, my mind is wandering ahead two months when we will be basking in the warm Caribbean sun in Ocean World, Dominican Republic.  Herbie is there now at a tournament they're running during this week.  I haven't made it out there yet, but all reports I've heard from my close buddies indicate this is a very special location and is sure to be a WPS favorite. 

Well it is great to see this website already live.

What is more important is the developing of the CARIBBEAN POKER TOUR, this is a great idea, and can become one of the most important poker tours with the right marketing approach, I think is a great idea and a great name.

Soon this WPS company will hit the sky with this tour, trust me!

Just need to find a good Online Poker Room Sponsorship that can help develop this great idea.
